About Christopher

My journey to ‘health and fitness coach’ is the result of the many twists and turns we all deal with in life, but there are two factors that likely influenced my arrival here the most:

  • the desire to help people ‘get better’
  • the desire to ‘become’ what I thought I was not

I’ll explain.

My journey began as a little kid who, quite simply, just wanted to help people ‘get better.’ I loved learning about the human body and I wanted to understand it so well that I could heal anybody that came searching for help.

I also was a self-described ‘skinny kid’, rarely feeling adequate in my own skin, and always wanting to be strong — in perception and reality — physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Long story short, this took me down a road of endless study and exploration — all in the name of learning ‘how the body worked’ so that I could ‘heal’ and ‘fix’ others; all in the search of building me into a ‘good’ person. I wanted to be somebody that I could be proud of, somebody that would have the strength to help others and be positive influence in their lives . . . somebody who lived a life of integrity, who’s actions ‘behind closed doors’ and out in the public were one-in-the-same.

And all of this culminated in me ‘finding’ the fitness profession as the ideal career (and life) path, and I haven’t looked back since.

Why Am I So Passionate About Fitness?

I love the environment.

To me, the world of ‘health and fitness’ is synonymous with ‘thrill of victory’, ‘taking on challenges’, ‘overcoming odds’, ‘showing your strength’, ‘revealing your vulnerabilities’ and ‘fixing the weak/broken links’.

It enables me to truly learn and TEACH without being limited by the politics & business of medicine. I can bring others optimal fitness by helping them build a foundation of ‘true health.’

It enables me to help others experience the incredible relationship between physically change and the development of positive mind and spirit. (Changing the physical body can lead to holistic life change.)

It enables me to bring joy to others (and therefore myself) by helping them to overcome physical limitations and ACHIEVE, to see and cultivate their inner strengths, their own inner beauty . . . to see the GOOD that they are and then celebrate that with them.
