About Us

Fifth Power Fitness is a health and fitness company with services in New York City and Boulder, Colorado. We strive for a minimum standard of excellence of getting you the results that you want, as quickly as possible, in the way that we feel is best — with coaching that emphasizes self-awareness, nutrition and exercise to for long-lasting body transformation.

We have 3 ’set in stone’ expectations that are the ‘heart’ of Fifth Power Fitness — all equally important and integrated with one another. They are:

1. Care for the client – Our aim is to make ‘training’ the best part of your day. You will know that you’re in safe, capable hands; you will know that you’re important; you will leave here feeling empowered and recognizing (and appreciating) the beauty that you ARE.)

2. Do No Harm. We will deliver safe, effective programming that’s designed thorough your initial assessment and ongoing testing and dialogue. We use our expertise to help you to the best of our ability and refer out when your needs require it, collaborating with our assembled network of professionals to ensure your health and well-being.

3. Make The Client Better (i.e. Get You Results!). Camaraderie, community, relationships, fun . . . it’s all part of the equation, but at the end of the day, results are what you initially came for, and what we’re here to provide — as effectively and efficiently as possible!

In a nutshell, we believe that ‘getting a better body’ requires more than merely picking up weights and doing cardiovascular conditioning. It requires education and a different perspective on the significant role ‘lifestyle’ plays in your transformation.

For too long, the mode of thinking has been ‘exercise begets health’ (or, worse yet, that exercise ‘counteracts’ poor lifestyle choices) when, in reality, the opposite is true.

Health begets ‘feeling better’ via exercise. Health begets beauty. Health begets enhanced performance. Health is the foundation of effective, efficient physical change that lasts a lifetime.

We believe that it’s our responsibility as coaches to teach you (and help you live) this principle in conjunction with your training, so that you can effectively work with your body to get the results you want.

And we expect to live up to that responsibility to that you can experience the full benefit of our mission:

To convey a strong message of caring and community to our clients as we transform their bodies and their lives with effective training principles that produce exceptional fitness ‘from the inside out.’
